Pitches – accommodation provided as described on our website by Campsite Owner or Holiday Park Owner
Reference to ‘Us’, ‘Our’ and ‘We’ refer to the Family Explorer Club
Reference to ‘You’, ‘Your’, ‘Guest’ or ‘Booker’ refers to you as a user of the website
General
- By using and visiting this website you agree to all terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy (click here to view privacy policy). If you disagree with any of the Terms and Conditions, you must not use Our website.
- Memberships can be purchased via the Family Explorer Club website or in person with a representative of the Family Explorer Club.
- Once purchased, there is a cooling off period of 14 days in which you can cancel your membership and a refund will be provided, subject to not having benefited from any of the service/discounts within the membership.
- After the 14 day cooling off period, the membership remains active for 12 months (from the date of purchase).
- After the 14 day cooling off period, you will receive your welcome pack in the post. It is your responsibility to ensure you provide the correct postal address.
- The welcome pack consists of a membership card, valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, along with a welcome letter.
- Only the card holder may use the card to receive any of the benefits. If it is found that someone other than the card holder is using the card for personal gain, membership shall be revoked, and the Family Explorer Club is under no obligation to provide a refund for the remainder of the membership period.
- Your membership card along with a valid form of photographic ID will be requested on arrival at the Holiday Park/Campsite. If this cannot be provided, the Holiday Park/Campsite is under no obligation to allow you entry and/or provide a refund or date amendment. They may also request you pay the difference of the full price to gain entry.
- If the Holiday Park/Campsite offers additional discounts on goods and services during your stay, the above rules apply.
- The Family Explorer Club can refuse the right to offer a membership to anyone who does not adhere to all terms and conditions set out by either the Family Explorer Club and/or our partners/affiliations.
- Some Campsite Owners and Holiday Park Owners may not allow the Family Explorer Club discount code to be used in conjunction with any other offers. Please check with the Campsite or Holiday Park for their individual terms and conditions before booking.
Making a booking
- To make a booking, please log into your account by clicking ‘log in’ on the Family Explorer Club website or click here.
- If you have a valid membership, you will be given access to book the discounted rates shown. You will either be provided with a discount code to book online or advised to make a booking via phone/email. Please pay attention to each Campsite/Holiday Park booking procedure.
- You will make a booking direct with the Campsite or Holiday park. The Family Explorer Club acts as an intermediary on behalf of the owners of holiday parks, campsites and similar establishments advertised on the website. In all circumstances the contract of your booking is between You (the booker) and the Owner.
- Discounts will vary between Holiday Parks/Campsites and the dates you have selected but will be a minimum of 5% and a maximum of 50%.
- Once a booking has been made and your booking has been processed, all the standard booking terms and conditions apply from both the Family Explorer Club and Holiday Park/Campsites individual terms and conditions. A copy of our booking terms can be found here.
- Owners will have their own terms and conditions and it is Your responsibility to check these terms and conditions directly with the Owner before making a booking, to ensure you accept them.
Membership renewal
- All memberships will be automatically renewed 14 days before the membership expiry date.
- The same card will be used in which payment was made on the prior year’s membership purchase.
- If you do not wish to renew your membership, cancellation requests must be made in writing by emailing info@familyexplorerclub.co.uk. The following details must be provided:
- Full name
- Postal address
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Reason for cancellation (optional)
- Once your membership has renewed, you have a 14 day cooling off period in which you can cancel your membership and a full refund will be provided.
- After the 14 day cooling off period, the membership remains active for 12 months (from the date of subscription).
- After the 14 day cooling off period, you will receive your new welcome pack and membership card in the post. It is your responsibility to ensure you provide the correct postal address.
- You will be charged at the prevailing rate of a full priced membership.
Membership cancellation
- Once a membership has been purchased, there is a cooling off period of 14 days in which you can cancel your membership and a refund will be provided, subject to not having benefited from any of the service/discounts within the membership.
- After the 14 day cooling off period, the membership remains active for 12 months (from the date of subscription). Under no circumstances will a refund be provided after this date.
- If you still wish to cancel your membership outside of the 14 day cooling off period, please email info@familyexplorerclub.co.uk with the following details:
- Full name
- Postal address
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Reason for cancellation (optional)

Legal
- This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes and extinguishes all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations and understandings between them, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter.
- Each party agrees that it shall have no remedies in respect of any statement, representation, assurance or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in this agreement. Each party agrees that it shall have no claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation or negligent misstatement based on any statement in this framework agreement.
- This agreement and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
- Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation.
